Crate chair jr
In 1934, Rietveld made the first crate furniture from 'crate wood'. Crate wood is a packaging material that he recycled in this manner. His ideology that beauty should be accessible to everyone, and that simplicity is a characteristic of what is true, was given form in the shape of the crate furniture. In its present manufacture, high-quality beech is chosen.
The 'junior'-version of both the chair and the table/stool are exact 2/3 replicas of the original model.
This easy to assemble, and very solidly constructed children's chair is packaged in handy flat gift package.
Every piece of furniture is numbered, has a matching certificate and contains a chip.
